- A graduate of Denison University with a degree in Psychology, Wendy Ward has spent her extensive corporate career in advertising, marketing and human connections. As she navigated the landscape of raising and educating her children, the need for social and emotional wellness hit her close to home.
Wendy became heavily involved in a Social Emotional Learning Tool called Kimochis. Now a Kimochis Facilitator, Wendy has spent the last 5 years in schools teaching the importance of emotional health to children, educators and administrators.
- Seeing the success children can have with early vocabulary building and conversations encouraged Wendy to co-found the Youth Mental Health Project. As a mother and strong community advocate, Wendy understands that change is not only attainable but sustainable.
