May 5th to May 11th!
We are excited to join our national partner, National Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health, in celebrating Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
In addition to participating in upcoming events, The Youth Mental Health Project is celebrating Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week by focusing on PARENTS and CAREGIVERS to let them know they are NOT ALONE!
When children struggle with mental health problems, their parents often feel isolated and have a tough time finding the support and resources they need. The Parent Support Network was created because we know that supporting parents is essential to improving children’s mental health.
Sharing Stories
Every day we will publish one story from a parent who has experienced isolation but found comfort in connecting with other parents.
