Giving Tuesdays

Caring For Children's Mental Health
Has Never Been More Essential!

Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, May 3 - 9, 2020 is designed to spread awareness about the importance of children's mental health and the need for services that support recovery, resilience, and success for youth and their families. Join our week of online activities and virtual events to promote awareness, reduce stigma, and raise money to fund our important programs. #GivingGratitude (SEE BELOW FOR OUR CALENDAR).

#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity, set to take place on May 5, 2020, during Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week, as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. It’s the perfect time to give and do good.

At The Youth Mental Health Project, we are committed to ensuring that families have support to care for and strengthen their children’s mental health during this extremely challenging time. The need for parent support, which is crucial for helping families care for their kids' mental health, has never been higher. We provide free, direct support to parents and families whose children are struggling with their mental health.

IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19, WE:

  • have moved to a virtual platform for parent support
  • have substantially increased the number of support meetings available
  • launched a new webinar series to support parents who are isolated
  • are recruiting and training more volunteers to meet the demand
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
  • Join our Fundraising Team.  We have all of the tools you need to reach out to your community, friends, and family.
  • Donate. Even a small amount can make a big difference.
  • Participate in our online activities and virtual events.
  • Follow us on Social Media and promote #GivingGratitude.
