Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is one of the most popular – and most effective – treatments available for managing out-of-control thoughts and emotions.

But what actually IS DBT and how can it help your child?

The Youth Mental Health Project is thrilled to present Dr. Gillian Galen, co-author of DBT for Dummies, who will take the mystery out of DBT and help you put it to work to help your family.

Parent Support Network Facilitator Brenda Siegel will host an information-packed conversation with Dr. Galen, discussing skills and strategies that can help your child regulate emotions, interact more effectively with people, and deal with stressful situations.

Whether your child struggles with anxiety, depression, anger, phobias, disordered eating, or intrusive thoughts, join us to learn how to help your child take control of self-destructive behaviors and negative thought patterns, and move further along the road to wellness.

This event is FREE but registration will be required.
