OCD:  One Adult Looks Back

Date(s) - Wednesday, October 13, 2021
10:00 am EDT - 11:00 am EDT

In honor of Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) Awareness week (Oct. 10-16), The Youth Mental Health Project is proud to feature a frank conversation with John Tessitore, diagnosed with OCD in 7th grade, and now, at age 31, running his own nonprofit foundation, dedicated to the childhood mentor who helped him cope with his disorder.

John will talk live with Ashlee Braxton of The Happy Choice Podcast, about the challenges of OCD then and now, including

  • the daily highs and lows that come with managing OCD
  • how family can strike a balance between compassion and accountability when supporting a loved one with OCD
  • what OCD feels and looks like in adulthood

Viewers may submit questions in advance of the webinar and during the event.

JCKFoundation.org works with communities and schools to improve mental wellness and resilience amongst our youth.
