Stress, fear, and nerves are a natural experience for everyone – including children and adolescents. But, too much stress or fear can impact children’s education, relationships, and behavior. Often children find it difficult to describe these complex feelings. So, how can we tell when negative feelings are normal or a sign of concern? When would therapy be beneficial? How can we help our children talk about and manage their stress and anxiety?
All this and more, answered by Dr. Ariana Hoet, a pediatric psychologist and the Clinical Director at On Our Sleeves, a program of Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Hosted by YMHP’s own Lauren Moore, Social Media Manager.
