Interim Executive Director
Susan Getman has orchestrated services for children, youth and families through municipal and state government as well as nonprofit organizations. Her programs and services have addressed mental health, substance abuse, special education, and youth development and public health prevention. Susan pays close attention to organizational culture, and program design, and is an advocate for social justice, particularly related to anti-racism and racial equity and to the civil rights of LGBTQ+ people.
Susan is a devoted mother for her two adult children and their partners. She loves time with her grandson, who spreads joy wherever he toddles! Susan enjoys volunteering with her certified therapy dog and as a court mediator. She is a long time skier, rock climber and kayaker, enjoying travel adventures with family and friends. A book and music by the fire with her partner and their Cobber Dog bring her peace through many an evening (or stormy weekend.)
